1. Enterprise Architecture Career Path Description
Designs and develops short- and long-term solutions to technology needs, to meet client requirements.
Applies best practices and advanced methodologies to address changing development, technology and client environments.
May support systems infrastructure, desktop and/or network architecture consultants by preparing detailed specifications and documentation from high-level designs.
Architects working in the area of Product Development may lead, plan and track all phases of the technology product life cycle, from inception through introduction into the marketplace. They may also establish technology product specifications, and collaborate with various functions, including network engineering, software development, operations, marketing and sales.
2. Principal Architect Position Responsibilities
• Designs and develops IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards for most strategic clients.
• Coaches/leads others in technical planning, architecture development and reviewing of specifications.
• Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings as it pertains to strategic new product development.
• Confirms the compatibility of products/services to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies, leading a multi-disciplinary team to do so.
• Reviews alignment with clients' overall enterprise architecture direction and the organization's standards for architecture consulting and works with peers on the final solution.
• Designs and defines system requirements for complex systems and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems for key strategic projects.
3. Education, Professional Accomplishments, and Certifications
• Education Required: Masters’ degree in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems. MBA qualification.
• Experience Required: At least 12years of experience in software development. Should have at least 4 years of experience in architecting native iOS (iPHone and iPAD) applications. Must have at least 4 years of experience in designing reach js, react native applications for Mobile platforms (Android, Surface and iOS).
Should have experience working on encryption technologies for Mobile platform. Thorough in JAVA with relative experience in working on the JAVA backend systems.
Must have worked on various mobile application frameworks. Must have proven track record of optimizing the mobile applications for offline, low bandwidth usage.
• Specialist Qualifications: Specialized development in commercial or business acumen, financial or strategic thinking.
